Nordic Village Resort is seeking a dynamic housekeeping manager to lead a dedicated team of staff. This is no ordinary housekeeping job, our accommodations are nestled on the side of a mountain in beautiful Jackson, NH! Enjoy the outdoor as you travel between each team, supporting the daily operation, inspecting accommodations and interacting with customers.
Responsibilities include;
Input and access information into property management system
Proficiency in planning, organizing, scheduling, maintaining budget standards, conducting inventories, and placing purchase orders
Development and implementation of training program
Be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolve problems using good judgement
Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and chemical handling requirements/use of equipment
Keep track of owner unit inventory and develop relationship with the owners of units. Ensure all owner property is returned to their units in a prompt fashion and that owner inspections are made a priority.
Communicate billable items to accounting
Analysis of operations and ability to create process and procedures to save time, increase the ease of the job and produce better results
Hire and train staff
Willing to join cleaning crews in high demand periods and off seasons
Preferred Experience;
Ability to learn and utilize property management software and office programs
Two years prior housekeeping management experience in a hotel with 100 rooms or large vacation ownership resort. Must act with a sense of urgency
Experience with J1 Visa Work & Travel Program a plus
Ability to lift 25lbs, work with chemicals, and perform all duties with or without accommodation
