Dunedin has received the “Tree City USA” award every year since 1989
The City of Dunedin takes pride in preserving green space for their residents and visitors by maintaining over 240 acres of land dedicated to public use for hiking, biking, swimming, playing and picnicking. This outdoor environment greatly enhances the quality of life in Dunedin for residence and visitors of all ages. The City has achieved the award from its commitment to improve the city’s tree canopy, by our tree maintenance, tree plantings and Arbor Day celebration each year.
