Weaver Park – 1258 Bayshore Boulevard
Less than a mile north of Skinner Street, on the Pinellas Trail, you will find Weaver Park. The beautiful waterfront park features a fishing pier, two picnic pavilions, a nature-themed playground and restrooms. Thanks to a generous donation from the Dunedin Youth Guild, your child’s imagination can run wild as they climb playground equipment inspired by nature including trees, butterflies, ant hills, caterpillars and giant bird eggs. The playground is completely ADA accessible and designed for all abilities.
Dunedin has received the “Tree City USA” award every year since 1989
The City of Dunedin takes pride in preserving green space for our residents and visitors by maintaining over 240 acres of land dedicated to public use for hiking, biking, swimming, playing and picnicking. This outdoor environment greatly enhances the quality of life in Dunedin for residence and visitors of all ages. The City has achieved the award from its commitment to improve the city’s tree canopy, by our tree maintenance, tree plantings and Arbor Day celebration each year.
